V 13 N. 1 Images from Granger

I recently found a site that has a lot of old track photos and have figured out how to post some of them to this blog. The site can be found at Granger.com Photos can be purchased from the site and some can be shown on non profit blogs such as this one. I do not think you will be able to copy them directly from this blog. George What Granger says about their history: Erika and William Glover founded The Granger Collection in 1964, creating a convenient and reliable source for images ranging from the prehistoric to the contemporary. They named their historical picture library in honor of Reverend James Granger, who published his 1769 'Biographical History of England' with blank extra leaves, allowing readers to embellish, or 'grangerize' the book with illustrations from their own collections. More than half a century later, we are still building upon the foundation that the Glovers established, and our mission is still the one that James Granger inspired - to help you illustrate history your own way.
