v 5 n 20 Coach Bill Schnier Off to the Philippines

One of our regular readers,  Bill Schnier, retired in 2013 from over thirty years as the head coach at U. of Cincinnati just accepted a 3 week gig consulting and advising the Philippine national track and field team in its preparations for the Southeast Asian Games.   Bill had two medalists at the Beijing Olympics , Mary Wineberg (4x400 gold)  and David Payne 110H silver,  so that gives him lots of credibility in that part of the world, apart from his all round likability.  Have a great trip Bill.  You'll hardly have your bags unpacked before you're on the return flight.
